Selection for the post constable in Uttar Pradesh Police
will be made through Preliminary written Test of 300 Marks, Physical Efficiency
Test of 100 Marks, Main Written Examination of 300 Marks followed by medical
examination. If you have already applied or going to applied for this post, you
must go through its exam pattern and section process which is being described
in following paragraphs.
Preliminary Test: It will be of 300 Marks consisting of
objective type questions and will be conducted on 27/10/2013. Who meet the eligibility criteria for the post will
be called for this examination. Minimum qualifying marks in this test is 35% of
total marks. There is no any minimum qualifying marks for respective subjects.
10 times of total vacancies will be called for next state.

Call Letter for Constable Preliminary Test will be issued by post office to all eligible candidates or it can be downloaded from board's website http://prpb.gov.in
Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates, on the basis of
preliminary examination, called for this test. PET will be of 100 marks. It
comprises 4.8 KM race in 30 minutes for Male candidates and 2.4 KM race in 18
Minutes for Female candidates.
Main Written Examination: Only those candidates who
successfully clear PT and PET will be called for Mains. It will be of 300 marks
consisting of multiple choice questions. Level of the questions in this test
will be according to minimum qualification for the post. Minimum qualifying marks
in the test is 35%. Those candidates who do not obtain upto 35% of total marks
will be disqualified. See the following.

Medical Examination: Qualified candidates in above mentioned
tests will be called for medical examination. In this test, there will be
height measurement test for male and female candidates both as well as other
physical health test.
Final Selection: A merit list will be prepared, after
physical measurement test and medical examination and final selection will be
made on that basis.
